This is about Assist2web and how this site came to be. This site is the result of a two year project of learning how the web works and how to build an internet based business.

First, necessary business. Please review our Terms of Service.

In the process of creating my first two sites it became apparent that there were many other small and mid size businesses who want a web presence. They had one big problem. They were not satisfied with the web services available.

They want a web site but lack the knowledge to build one. The fees that are charged are outside the budget of many small businesses. Some who take the plunge end up spending thousands of dollars with no return.

We do represent a company that will build a site that will get natural traffic. The cost is up to $5000 plus if wanted, the site will be maintained.

Even with this service, at the least we still encourage site owners to know how it works. At the best, we encourage site owners to be able to do their own maintenance.

In reality, all anyone needs is a little assistance and it will be possible to Do It Yourself.

Note The one question you will want to ask is how well the sites anyone builds will do. When I looked at services and asking to be able to see some of the sites created, one company told me that they could not say as it was confidential. Anyone worth their name will be able to give proof.

DO NOT look at how pretty the site is. Look at how well the site does. Ask for independent proof. We provide it. Why can't they? This is one thing about Assist2web.com that you will find we always encourage consumers to do. Ask for proof.

My first site was built to help me learn how to build a web site and get it ranking in the top 1% of all active websites.

Then I built a site for my wife. It is a MLM site. However it is built on a different philosophy than most MLMers use. This is rather exciting. You can learn more about this renegade way to market on this site.

A clue to what I am talking about...the customers are first mine, not the MLM company. I refuse to sell to my friends and family. This is why we have our own site, not the company sponsored web page with our name.

Working on these first sites slowed down as the next in the progression of events leading to this site came about. Becoming an educator at Northampton Community College teaching a class entitled, “Building a Successful Internet Based Business” furthered our education.This is when I started thinking about Assist2web as a viable web site concept.

Not only did it result in learning more about site building, it taught us how to teach others. The first class graduated in 2007.

Lessons learned from that class resulted in the motivation to build Assist2web.com.The slower building did not hurt me by the way. An important aspect of a website that determines ranking is age.

Beyond just learning how to build a successful web site, we wanted to provide the essential tools of success. Part of our continued success comes from the SBI suite of tools.One of the most important things you need to know about Assist2web was that we built it to enhance those who use the SBI suite of tools.

Another part of the success comes from our being an affiliate marketer of SBI. Not only is it the first affiliate marketing we ever got involved with, it continues to produce income on several levels, including being able to make income as an adjunct instructor teaching people how to succeed on the web.

Now the next step in the growth is expanding the educational process so that others can benefit from the ability to build their own web success.
