Course Requirements
If you can send an email and write a letter, you can build a successful web business. Build a Successful Web Business Class Requirements There are some basic requirements for the class. The class runs 10 weeks. It is essential that you be available for all 10 classes. Failure to make the classes could spell failure to succeed. 10 Weeks of ClassThe first class will be held Starting on Monday, January 11, 2010. If your able and available, you have met the first hurdle. If second class is formed, it will be on Wednesday 13th or Thursday 14th of Jan and on the respective days until the completion of the 10 weeks. 3 Hour Long Labs The labs last three hours long. Often they can be completed in less time. This is especially true if each learner is well prepared, has reviewed the course study (either video, audio or book reading) and has any issues and or questions written out. Remember, this is only part theory. In this class, the theory meets the real world as you build your business as part of the class. 8 Hours of Homework Next, the dreaded homework. This is not like any homework you have ever done. The home work you will be doing will be part reviewing what we will do in class and part building the foundation of your new web business. Once the foundation is completed, you will start building the actual business, your internet based business. This takes a minimum of 8 hours a week. The more you can give, the farther you can go and the greater the potential for success. Able to Devote a Year or Two Why is the failure rate of new businesses so high? Often they do not plan that it may take longer to succeed. The build a successful website business is unique in that it can be built at your own pace, at your own time while you continue with your current work or business. In my own research, it has taken many website owners over a year, sometimes at least 2 years and as much as four years to master the web. This is not a jump in and make it big, fast proposition. Even Google will tell you that it takes up to 6 months for a new website to be recognized by the Google search engine. You need to plan on this being a significant career improving move. Then, one day, when your ready, a career change if you choose. There is one last requirement... You Need To Be Open Minded If you come to the class with a concept that has little interest on the net, there are two possibilities. You may be on the cutting edge of the next big thing or it may be very difficult to succeed. If your concept is limited in potential and you want to build a business for income potential, I may not be able to help you. I do turn away students if there is not a reasonable chance of being able to help them succeed. If you are not building for income and are merely building for passion, and we agree that there may be little chance of making any income, you are welcome to take the class.
