There are some aspects that merit review however.

Your MLM Business Plan

Lets look as if we were viewing the Executive Summary where a concise overview of the entire business plan is laid out.

Remember, if MLM is a new business model for you, the entire plan is all theory. That means there needs to be two things of concern.

A good scientist hypothesizes and then seeks to prove or disprove the hypothesis. The proof will save you from financial ruin. There needs to be test marketing to see if the theory is realistic for you, even if it works for others.

So first, you need to test the business model and see if it is for you.

Second, businesses fail because they spend all their money on a wrong theory and there is nothing left to rebound on. You need to make sure and have enough resources if you get it wrong so that you can regroup and if necessary retry.

This does not mean spend more money on product. If you think this is what it takes to be successful, you are wrong. If your up-lint tells you this, then you will make his profit but not your own.

You need to be able to move what you have available or what you can leverage.

Note... Having been self employed most of my life, it has been my experience that it is possible to start a small business with no money. You read that right. I never bought anything until it was possible to pay for it twice with the work at hand.

Four wheel drive pick up trucks, stone saws, rock drills, tow behind compressors, you name it, I rented it until the jobs were plentiful enough to pay for them. Did I make less money? Yes. Did I lose any sleep? No. Did I have any risk? No. Did I ever get it wrong? Yes and there was room without debt to get it right.

The Most Important Thing

I have a theory. I am testing it as of the month of August, 2008. I think any MLM that is worth getting into you can get into with out having to spend a dime of your own money. Here is how it works and how I am doing it.

Calculate the cost of joining the company with any bells and whistles you might want or need. In my case it will be approximately $800. Based on the number of people under me and sales I will need to make, I have estimated the size of organization required to earn the $800 inside one to two months.

My mission is to find and sign up those people at the same time I sign up. To get them, I am asking for them to have the same goal. As of this writing there are 3 ready to go. Some may drop out so more than the minimum will be needed.

But it will tell me if I can do it or not.

Marketing

Most MLM’s have marketing plans. They recommend meeting so many people a week and even give statistics. For starters, you will need to look deep inside yourself and ask if you can really do this. Can you approach the required number of strangers and get them to join or buy product.

Can you deal with being turned down. Do you thrive on rejection?

If you do, then this has the greatest possibility of producing a truly remarkable income for you. This, of course, if you create a MLM business plan to succeed.
